Collisions of boats ; caused by impairment of drivers , or distractions or joyride of unlawful drivers

95% of boating collisions have easily determined fault.

100% Speed boat fault. Dont even need to investigate. You literally can't move a fishing boat fast enough to avoid it.

Given the timing, it's likely that alcohol was also involved.

These speedboats are so dangerous. I fish and can tell you that speedboats and jet ski's always are trying to show off and love to skim right past fishing boats despite having the whole lake.

Boats going 60mph with an impaired driver and a fishing boat. I doubt the fishing boat is responsible unless it traveled into the path of the speed boat.

They probably didn’t expect to be out after dark and didn’t realize there boat lights weren’t not working once they tested them. Boat lights can be easily seen for great distances.

What is definition of a speed boat,because I know many fishing boats that are capable of 60 mph
