EXPERIENCING SAUDI HOSPITALITY: New Zealand family visiting a Saudi Arabian camel farm!

Published 2022-08-19
This is one of those extra special adventures in full-time travel that is worth changing up all your plans to make sure you include it! We were actually planning to leave Dammam and take the train to Hofuf today but cancelled the tickets; hired a rental car; and accepted a very kind invitation to visit a Saudi Arabian camel farm out in the desert.

What an adventure! We learnt a lot about farm life and about life in general out of the cities in the desert landscape of Saudi Arabia.

Thank you the families who hosted us so warmly and shared their lifestyle and homes with us. We have created memories we will treasure FOREVER!

We head next to Al Hofuf and on to Riyadh. We look forward to sharing our adventures in Saudi Arabia with kids!

Thanks for watching! :)

Exploring the Arabian peninsula and having the full desert experience is best around November to February! the weather is getting extremely HOT that the locals get out when the sun goes down!

I'm glad you guys were so happy in your visit and I admire your host as well he did a great job too. But I'll say you guys just saw 1% or less of Saudi Arabia culture & hospitality since Saudi Arabia is so large and rich with different colours of cultures and traditions that you guys might enjoy it's diversity even more. Hope you guys spend more time here in Saudi and hope you guys enjoy it as well. And remember that, where ever you in Saudi Arabia, you are not just a guests here! No, you are a part of us and we do count you guys as one of us, and our homes & hearts are always open for you. And what's worth mentioning is, you gonna see the same thing even in our neighbor countries as well.
