  • I have a PhD focus on Paranormal and Mysticism teaching. I use these videos to put myself into a meditative state while I read and write. Believe me, it really works. My mother is Lumbie, but much of my grandmother's family spent time denying it for various reasons. It's only the last several years that my mother opened up to it. She always thought she was Cherokee or part of some Blackfeet offshoot; but my sister did the genealogy search and found the appropriate records, learning differently. My mother's family always had a massively difficult time with being both black and Native. Some relatives would pretend it was another tribe or not tell the truth. I'm quite proud of knowing exactly what tribe. My mother resembles, to a tee, many of the older Native women I see in the crowd. She passes with great ease as closer to Native. She's still a wonderful lady. She's in her 90s and still with us. I'm hoping to have her still with us when I finish my PhD. Keep drumming; keeping giving us some incredibly healing, spiritual vibrations.

  • πŸ’₯I saw them in the 90's in my hometown in Amsterdam- The Netherlands..! That was in the RAI they did their performance on stage, and...they invited people on stage to dance with them a healing dance. Quess what..they invited me on stage to do a healing dance! My sister took some photos really cool to dance with them i will never ever forget this beautiful experience! Later on i had a profound and spiritual dream of the Powwow native people. I dreamed i was there at night at a ceremony and the girls of the tribe put a yellow with green shawl on my shoulders. And yellow juwels in my hair..I feld so welcome and accepted and so special..πŸ’₯πŸ™πŸ’₯πŸ’•πŸŒŽIm so grateful for to meet them real life and that they appeared in my dream..Thank you beautiful Powwow Nation! I feel like the drum circle is a way to speak amongst each other beyond language. The ultimate feeling. It is even more powerful than a song on the radio. I truly hope the native people allow me to listen to one of these in person. Incredible

I am a descendant from the Cahuilla Agua Caliente. Not considered Native because of my 1 sixteenth of blood in me. I want to give respects to those in Native burialground. Biff Andreas. His son Josh Andreas. To you,too Michelle! And to Grandma Virginia.
