The saddest part about Tarot is not just the fact that an interesting (albeit interperted incorrectly) concept of tarot cards for a horror movie and the monsters being from the tarot deck was wasted on it, but the monsters were designed by Trevor Henderson, the man behind Siren Head, Long Horse, and Cartoon Cat. His art is incredible and terrifying, so it's just such a bummer that his movie debut was that absolute slop.

The idea of one person getting shot in an empty theater at 3pm on a Thursday watching Humane is both hilarious and horrifying

The way that Hollywood took a real life story of Roald Dahl (aurhor of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Ian Flemming (author of James Bond), and Admiral John Godfrey (believed to be the main inspirarion for James Bond) basically banging their way through the wives of powerful men during WW2 in order to sway the war and turned that into a generic action film should be a crime. My all time favorite alleged quote from Roald Dahl during this mission was "I'm all fucked out... That god damned woman has absolutely screwed me from one end of the room to the other for three goddamn nights" in reference to the wife of a notoriously anti-british print magnate

As someone who unfortunately works at a movie theater, etiquette is fully NONEXISTENT... Like I feel that some people must think that just because it's expensive af, they should be able to do whatever they want... But like, then they're just making the experience miserable to someone else who also paid for those overpriced tickets and snacks-🤦

What pisses me off about tarot the most is how genuinely good the magician kill was. Like it was so atmospheric and otherworldly, I don’t understand why all the kills weren’t like this. Or the entire movie really.
