Join me for some of my process in painting this vibrant Scarlet Tanager sitting amongst some bright green leaves lit by an evening summer sun. I'll talk about colour mixing, background details, and painting this colourful bird. It's going to be a long process that requires some patience and focus, with a bit of uncertainty about how to bring some of the elements to life. But in the end it's worth all that time and effort and I hope that this will be helpful! Enjoy!

    Enjoyed this tutorial a lot. Thanks for not ruining your video and voice over with nousy background music. That very low, mellow music was perfect. The lower the better. The painting is so, so beautiful. The rim light on the leaves makes it almost poetic.
