Testing out the JK Army M04 Gas Mask's lenses against direct fire.

Short version, great costume piece for a film project, but I wouldn't game with it.

Use flex seal or flex fudge or something to keep the eye pieces in
  • @180molotov
agreed id also say maybe wear mesh goggles underneath to for super safety

oh cool they're making stronger ones because those are really cool masks too bad the current ones have lens issues
  • @ZOMB1ECOW
ay can you guys please make another video tessting it at full auto, please?
  • but its not broken, you can just place the lens into place, and also,i dont think you are supposed to aim at the eyes
  • @TV0R11
so if the problem is the lenses not being held in well could you go around where the lenses connect with some strong epoxy to possibly reinforce it?
  • @ItsaLaz
It's an option. My Oakley Jawbones just barely fit underneath. You'd have to experiment.
  • @ItsaLaz
That's always an option, though you would have to demonstrate it to game organizers that it could take the punishment afterwards, each game. According to AirsoftPark the manufacturer is creating a better version.
  • @ItsaLaz
Wait a bit... a better version is supposedly on the way.

The fake gas filter is a little fan. I haven't had a chance to really test out that feature, as I've only played one zombie-themed game with it (lenses off & wearing Oakley Jawbones underneath).

From everything iv seen on the mask its bad as is but with work can be usable. Might try securing lens with nuts and bolts lol the outer shell is tough but the part holding the lens holders are what really need work

99.44% sure that it's the same thing, re-branded.

I was sooo excited o get this stupid thing too.
  • @ItsaLaz
Just make sure you do live fire tests first. Full auto AEG and whatever 400-450 FPS sniper guns you have access to.
  • @ez8forreal
The mask itself is great, Sadly the lenses are poorly mounted on the inside of the mask. Why make a great looking mask with poorly mounted lenses is beyond me. Ez8

Surely you could just wear safety glasses beneath the mask?
