@chris9581 - You are right. Braking later, sticking to his bumper on every turn and passing in the front straight is by no way chasing down a car on the track. Thanks for showing me the light! LMMFAO!

Exactly!!!! What does it mean if I'm catching up to him at breaking zones? I'm out breaking him, right? How am I'm on his bumper in every turn, I'm out handling him, right? A road course event is not a drag race even though I'll beat him at that too since I run 11.8 in the 1/4 mile and in the front straight he was not pulling away. Not once did you ask what I have done to my car did you? What if I have suspension work, racing brakes pads, calipers and racing slicks. Possible huh!lol

No problem bud. The lap I passed him I must of missed the slower car that was holding him back. Oh yeah, there wasn't one. I even screwed up on turn 4 and still pulled him back in by the time we got to turn 6. I'm sorry that you can't believe it. It's a hard pill to swallow that a 4400lb (w/ driver to be exact) can run 1:02 times around Lime Rock Park but it's true. You should have been there to speak with the Ferrari owner after the session...lmao. The pill would go down easier...lol

This guy had years of seat time in the car and he driving to the best of his ability. I'm not saying he's mario andretti but far from a rookie. Would you believe I was pulling 1.3 g's in the turns and 2 g's of braking or is impossible too. I have a racelogic performance box with proof. Do you have any with this stock 2000 Ford Taurus you claim of? Since it's so hard to believe come out to my next event with this stock taurus you speak of...NJMP Lightning on 8/6? I'll be waiting

well, I love this. dude, you can drive, I have a couple srt products and they are under appreciated. I track my ap1 s2000 and get by some vettes, 911's, boxters ect....I think a lot of it comes down to the drivers abilities and balls. I push my S2000 harder then most out there..great.driving by the way....can you tell me what tires suspension tweaks you've done?...I have the diablo, 185 stat, afe 2 cai...thats about it. runs 12.7 in da quarter on the shitty rsa's

Are we watching the same video? Because the only "pulling in" I see being done by you is when he's on the brakes. 1:02 is a good time but I've seen the same from everything from a Taurus SHO (220hp AND FWD) to a stock 350Z. Maybe i'm crazy though. Maybe Chrysler really created a car that performs better than a quarter million dollar, purpose built race car. Cool story bro.

Makes for a good laugh reading the comments from the nay-sayers...talk about denial. Good entry/exit lines, good planning, overall good driving. It sure is fun and satisfying to pass cleanly more expensive marques that mistakenly believe it's their right to look down their noses at drivers who have modded their rides sufficiently to do - just - that :^) And you paid HOW much all-in to beat on so-called "upper crust"???

i don't care what you have. the point is that you were either driving against a guy who was either taking it easy so as not to wreck his ride, or didn't know how to drive. There's no amount of suspension mods in the world that would let a 300C out handle a 360 Challenge. Period. Like I said, you running 1:02 when a 220hp V6 Taurus ran the same time doesn't impress me.On a side note, i'd like to vacation in whatvever world you're living in. It sounds like a lot of fun.

Yeah, my bad. I mean, there wasn't any other slower cars on the track that needed to be passed. Do you really expect a guy to risk his $250k Ferrari instead of going easy and having fun on a track day? 1:55 is the way it really would have went if he was trying. Even if the guy was a horrible driver, do you really think a 4000lb+ sedan with the aerodynamics of a house could really "chase down" a 2800lb race car? Really guy? Thanks for the lulz.
