To say Esther Wahome is a legend is an understatement.
She is a beautiful soul who not only paved the way for other people but one who has honored the institution of marriage and family

But, she has also experienced church hurt and mockery during her lowest moments when one of her children was dealing with autism.

On this episode of LNS Rebuilding series, she walks us through her Becoming Journey, marrying a man that supports her fully, career, and how God Restored her

  • I humbly want to take this opportunity to say thanks to Lynn and her team for having me on this show, and to all of you from this channel who have come to my channel after watching this and showered me with love and support, I really appreciate and I say God bless you all. I'm so happy that so many have been inspired by this part of my story, and I'm also refreshed by your love on the comment section right here. May God answer your prayers and turn your pain to gain, may he fight your battles for you and give you victory .
  • I'll always remember a day I was seated at st. Andrew's restaurant around 2013, so overwhelmed because I was going through autism journey with my son. Esther wahome came and sat at a table next to me. I went and said high, we started a conversation and I talked to her about my son not knowing she had a son with autism like mine. Esther really encouraged me at a time I really needed someone to talk to who would understand my journey. To me you were God sent on that particular day. You are a wonderful person, you never spoke to me at a point of fame. You spoke to me as a fellow woman. My son is now 13 still nonverbal, I'm still hopeful
  • I went through this exactly and my son spoke 2020 at 5years old. He fluent talks pure English. Test to testimony glory to God.
  • "Do not sacrifice your life on the altar of marriage because God did not create you as a wife, God created you as a woman so be the woman, become a wife and become a good wife but don't sacrifice your life on the altar of marriage it is not Godly it is not right. Even any good husband will tell you that and push you to become the woman he sees in you even that which you don't see yourself." I love this!!
  • But people please let us stop the habit of rejoicing about someone’s downfall because we really don’t know why God has put them in that situation

The part of the baby with Autism got me in tears. I am raising my daughter who came as a preemie, had convulsions for years and later diagnosed with AUTISM. It's been 6 years that feels like hell. Hospitals have become our homes. Have lost myself in the journey, have delt with depression. But am trying to get myself back. Please, it's not an easy journey... You lose even friends and you're left with no choice but to be strong for your child. Please be kind to parents raising babies that are abled differently, it's overwhelming. God bless LNN, God bless you all.

Having a non verbal autistic 9yr old boy ,today I dreamt we were having a conversation and then when I woke up ,I opened YouTube and then I saw this as the first thing. I believe God wanted me to hear this and today I tap into this blessing and will still hold unto faith that one day we are going to have this conversation..This too shall be our testimony. God has a purpose for me to hear this..
  • I am a kindergarten teacher, It is a call for me to be with these children, helping shape their destinies. Thank you Lynn for having a phenomenal woman Esther share her testimony be blessed.

After high school, me and one of my friends used to visit a certain teacher in her house to watch TV since we had none at the time..I particularly remember the teacher loved playing Esther's songs (CDs) and I would long for the day I'd get my own house and TV.. Today, 20 years later I get to watch Esther's story in my house (though rented) and on my TV.. I'm so encouraged, inspired and motivated in my walk of faith. Much more blessings to you dear Esther.. you're truly a role model to us women and a great soldier of Christ. Thank you Lynn🙏

This was an interview and a half. A confirmation that those who look to God are radiant and their faces will never be covered with shame (Psalms 34) . I was encouraged, challenged, inspired and edified. I know I'll be back to watch again because for such interviews, one is never enough❤❤❤
  • @enyce120
Lynn the people you are interviewing on your show of late shows how much respect and credibility you have in the journalism space. People are trusting you to bring their stories exactly as they have told them. Some of these people hardly ever do interviews and when they do they are choosy about who does them because people just can't be trusted. It also shows the trust that God has in you to do the work that you are intended to do. See how Esther has spoken about her's and those if her generation's longevity in the industry being because they are doing it for the calling? That will be your testimony 3 decades from now. If ever you feel like giving up, always remember that the Grace of God is and will keep covering you. Upwards and onwards Lynn.

My son is now 4 years, speech not yet and have not started the Therapy yet due to financial challenges and I have a 2 months old to take care of.......so overwhelming and people don't understand what others go through.
