Scottsdale fire crews are searching for a group of hikers reportedly lost on the McDowell Sonoran Preserve Friday morning.

Fire officials say 13 hikers are reportedly missing, and one of them is a child.

    Wait a sec, the are using a helicopter? Seems drones would be easier, faster & cheaper!

    It was supposed to be an hour trail. We had plenty of water. Backwash transitioned seamlessly with the rocky trail. There was no barrier. We thought it was part of the trail.
