  • Don’t ever forget that VICE was one of the only major media outlets who focused on the development of this conflict since it began in 2013, and the events leading up to its initiation. This conflict should’ve garnished considerably more attention than it had in its early years and may have possibly been resolved or at least diminished in its severity. Unfortunately the action was not taken, and tens of millions have had to pay the price.
  • I watched the 100 part Vice series from back in 2014 or 2015...it was so amazing....crazy 10 years later Vice is still covering the war

"I want to hear silence, I want to hear house being built " words a kids shouldn't have to say ever
  • @KateKosmo
When the little girl said I just want to go to the park & hear silence, I completely broke down. How can people be so inhumane & inflict this genocide?!

Big Shoutout to vice for always being on the frontlines of all our wars despite the dangers that come with being in a war zone .
  • The sweetheart at the end... Man... I wish I had big enough arms to embrace all of you who are suffering and offer you your homes, families and friends the way you remembered and cherished. Stay strong, much love and light 💜
  • @truelife1004
Man, those folks need peace. I honestly hope for the best outcome for all these people. War is hell
  • Having to call my wife and tell her that her county was being invaded by Russia was devastating. It was akin to how it felt for me on September 11th. The whole family was drained of every ounce of joy. A year later and the people of Ukraine still stand tall. Слава Україні!

The fact you brought Michael Clarke in to give the tactical information and timeline is testament to the quality and factual reporting Vice seeks to achieve.
  • @hopesnopes
The look on the face of the guy interviewing Maria-the-liar Butina is priceless. His questions were spot on. Thank you, Vice.

VICE is the company that got me into street and war photography. your shots, the way you tell a story through the lens is absolutely amazing. keep it up

The sheer balls of the Ukrainian people in defending their homeland is something that should inspire everyone. They've shown to the entire world that Russia's military power was largely bravado.

Vice News, you never cease to amaze me in all your reporting! I really want to let you know the interviewers are the best of the best. Michael Clarke is one of the BEST War-Time Analysis ever. Thank you for all you do to risk life and limb to bring the reality perspective to the rest of the world.

As an American living in Ukraine, I really appreciate this reporting. Too many have already forgotten about the horrors that this war had brought upon the Ukrainian people.
  • the thing that hit me hardest about this documentary was the among us painting on the wall at around the 25 minute mark. It really shows how these literal children are being exposed to this, and even worse, in such a recent time.
  • This is the Vice I love. Great reporting on the front lines, no matter how upsetting. Let the truth be seen and heard. The 12 year old girl broke my heart. May the world never forget this atrocity.
