What is CTE | Signs and Symptoms

Sarah Jeffries on what is CTE, it’s signs and symptoms and how you could avoid having this brain disease. CTE means Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, a progressive neurodegeneration disease (Some people call it a brain injury) common to athletes engaged in contact sports such as boxing.

    My dad recently passed away out of the blue from suicide and we just got the results back showing he had stage 2 CTE.. I really wish there was more awareness about it. thank you for this video!

    Well I typed in cte cause I watched boxing all night, and I've always knew the symptoms but not much about it. So thank you for this, very interesting. Thank the lord for nurses, esp when they look like this 🔥❤️

    Thank you for this vid. The NFL has had to admit to the CTE issue in their sport. It's obvious the boxing game also has their share of CTE. Also MMA and now the rise of recreational combat sports. We're in for a tough future with head injures, I'm afraid... Keep up the good work.
  • Hi , I am currently seeing this in my husband who was a professional boxer. He is 52, and recently in the last year has progressed. We are currently waiting to see a neurologist in October. He's experiencing lots of anxiety, depression and mild confusion along with memory loss. Thank you for your video.

  • My cousin has CTE and he genuinely scares me because of how big and unprovoked his actions might be at times. I try to stay away but nonetheless I do wish he had the help he needed.

    I have all these symptoms. I has hit consecutively for about 220 days when I was tortured.

    I didn't notice any mention about cte affecting speech? I'm no expert but I've been in a journey that's included a fair amount time in a handful of gyms and have def noticed speech impairment from some.
