The 2007 college football season was possibly the most entertaining of all time. With so many twists and turns, I decided to go back and take a look at what made it so special. This became my longest video I've ever made and easily took me the longest to do... enjoy!

Holy hell a 20+ minute KTO video about college football. I didn't know today was going to be this good.
  • Fun fact: The all time series record going into that Kansas Missouri game was 53-53-9

As a WVU fan, that loss to Pitt will forever be burned in my memory. Rich Rodriguez left for Michigan before we even played the bowl game.

Rutgers being ranked is something I might never see again

this is my favorite video on all of YouTube. I come back and watch it all the time. Can’t overstate how appreciative I am of your hard work

I remember being 10 years old at that cal game against Oregon state with my dad and his college buddies. The excitement of the crowd hearing that LSU lost and then the complete and utter shock on that last play… not sure I’ve ever heard my dad curse so much hahaha. Truly heartbreaking but still a fond father-son memory. Thanks for making this video. 👍

I actually went to one of these massive upset games that year: Texas Tech vs. (3)OU. Any other year, the TTU upset would have been national news; by that point in 2007, though, it was damn near expected to happen.

I had totally forgotten about DeSean Jackson defying space time and juking both backwards and laterally at the same time
  • #2 team: “we gonna win this game eas- Unranked team: “slow down there buckaroo”

You didn’t give the UK v. LSU game enough coverage. That was an incredible game.
  • Imagine if this season had ended with a 64 team March Madness bracket
  • It's practically the closest thing we'll come to for a twilight zone in college football

2007 was the last time I had followed college football religiously, as 2008 was when real life caught up, and since then I pretty much only follow my team (Iowa State) and my conference (Big XII) closely. I am still stuck in 2002 - 2007 as a CFB fan, and when I look back on 2007, it really seemed like the end of an era in a way. Alabama's dynasty, NIL (behind the scenes and not nowadays), reallighment, etc. I think my life picked a good time for me to go out as a CFB junkie. Nevermind the fact that 2007 was one if the greatest years of my life in general. I remember the KU/Mizzou game vividly. I was so hyped for it as a Big XII North guy (and really Big 8 guy at heart), that I even recorded it to VHS (sadly lost the tape years since), and I HATE Mizzou and KU as an Iowa State alum. The fact that I was willing to swallow that hatred for one night speaks volumes about that game going into it. Go Big XII baby. We are stronger than ever now, and the parity going forward is going to make these coming years VERY exciting. Anyone will be able to win the conference going forward. Even Kansas (as long as Leipold sticks around).

I remember that crazy year. I lived in Missouri and I remember people here were pissed that Kansas got to play in a BCS bowl even though Mizzou beat them and played one extra game.
