Yes I know this video is wrong, I kinda rushed the research and scripting part and ended up making a lot of mistakes in this video (especially with the whole kocmoc thing). Please watch this video that corrects these mistakes before commenting anything about them here: https://youtu.be/TS6QGGQADKw?si=DxMQtruEU3ncyGBg

Космос is "Space" in Russian. Cherryteam is mainly Russian.
  • @VernamGD
That kocmoc thing sounded sorta offensive you know
  • @BR0SK1X
"KOCMOC" is basically Cosmos written in Cyrillic, an alphabet used mostly in the Russian language

2:21 El Dorado (Spanish for "the golden") is commonly associated with the legend of a gold city, kingdom, or empire. Originally, El Hombre Dorado ("The Golden Man") or El Rey Dorado ("The Golden King"), was the term used by the Spanish in the 16th century to describe a mythical tribal chief (zipa) or king of the Muisca people, an indigenous people of the Altiplano Cundiboyacense of Colombia, who as an initiation rite, covered himself with gold dust and submerged in Lake Guatavita.

there are several mistakes but overall a good video, for example. Firework doesnt refer to “fireworks” like 4th of july, but rather working with fire and ash, hence the black and grey style of the level, Kocmoc is cosmos in russian, poocu is poo and cum and ofc the cubed part is true, neutra is the name of the six impalas OC who appears throughout their discography, lotus flower is the name of the radiohead song which the level uses. The golden of course, is green because it is jungle themed, as in finding “the golden” or “el dorado” hidden in the jungle.
  • @pakelist
the intended meaning for oblivion was likely "the state of being unaware or unconscious of what is happening" due to it being a cognition sequel
  • @endervine3676
This video is just proof that we come up with weird names in this community lmao
  • @revilob
0:58 this is cyrillic (russian), the k is equivalent to a hard c in english and the c is equivalent to a soft c (literally an s), so it is spelled correctly as космос
  • @frostbvrn
The reason why NEUTRA was named that, despite it being a dentist-themed level, was because NEUTRA is the name of six impala’s (the artist group that made the song) vocalloid. The song in the level, “Lovelovelovelovelovelove”, is from six impala’s album “Wflytd”, a dentist-themed album.

The MINUSDRY definition doesn’t explain it in enough detail, as “MINUS” was a term used in impossible levels, like MINUSCLUB. The term was likely coined by Iced Cave as he used to go by the name “Minus” at times. If you want more detail on the term itself, probably ask CDMusic why he named it MINUSDRY. The SWI definition is wrong because “Infinity” is a kind of a suffix used when remaking levels, and the level is of course based off of Sonic Wave. The Esfera definition is wrong, as it’s also based off of a Maple Story location of the same name. The NEUTRA definition is wrong, as the name “Neutra” is the name of a Hatsune Miku-like member of the band Six Impala (in the way that how both Neutra and Hatsune Miku are both vocal synths represented by a face) which made the song used in the level. You can see Neutras face placed at 21% and 50%, and the Six Impala logo at the end. The Promethean definition is completely wrong, it’s an adjective meaning “related to Prometheus”, Prometheus being a god of fire in Greek mythology. The Fragile definition is also wrong, with it being named after the song that the level uses of the same name. I’m not sure if the KOCMOC definition was intentional, but “Kocmoc” is actually just Russian for cosmos. The definitions for Saul Goodman and Walter White don’t explain why the names were used in the levels and just tells the description of the characters.
  • @niiro2998
I would like to mention that the NEUTRA the level is refering too is on of the members of Six Impala, the guys that made the song for the level. It's the face you see speaking at the the beginning of Aeon's verification.
  • 3:29 It’s also named after Neutra, a member of six impala, who made the song. The dentistry stuff is a reference to their album WFLYTD, which has a dentistry themed cover.
  • @IgnisPeaks
zodiac is a synonym of the word sphere, which the name of the song zodiac uses neutra is one of the members of six impala, she made the song for NEUTRA
  • @waterlillly
SUPERHATEMEWORLD isn’t quite just an edgy name, it refers to an old super mario world rom hack that the og lvl was inspired by.
  • @Airborne7263
idk if you were joking on the kosmos one lol, but the actuality of its meaning is just cosmos in russian: космос
  • @Broken-or3bj
I wanted to bring some corrections here : #4 - Slaughterhouse : The level is a remake of an old impossible level of the same name, made by Icedcave, who directed the creation of this remake. How it relates to the actual meaning of the word though is unclear. #5 - Kyouki: Yes, it means "insanity" in japanese. This may refer to the name of the song it uses, "Crazy" by Creo #9 - KOCMOC - Actually means "cosmos" in russian, and is pronounced just as in english. Also refers to the name of the song it uses, "KOCMOC" by Sleeping Hummingbird. The level itself is space themed. #15 - The Hallucination - Named after the eponymous song by Djjaner #16 - Edge of Destiny - Is a remake of the original unnerfed version of the 2017 extreme demon level "Blade of Justice" by Manix an LazerBlitz. The name follow the same kind of theme. The original idea for Blade of Justice was that it was about a sword fallen from the cosmos, able to pierce through and kill anything, hence the space-ish tech theme. #28 - Verdant Landscape : I think it is a remake of the 1.9 insane demon level "Windy Landscape" by OG player WOOGI1411, but green, hence the adjective "verdant". Nice interpretation of the name though. #36 - NEUTRA : Is actually the name of the vocaloid of music artist siximpala for their album "WFLYTD", which is dentist themed, and contains "LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE", the level's song (thx to @frostbvrn8976 for the info in the comment section). Your interpretation still fits. #39 - Thinking Space : This is a play on words about the song it uses, "Wander of Thought" by F-777. The level was meant to joke about the over-usage of move triggers and other 2.0 features in levels at the time the update came out. #42 - SUPERHATEMEWORLD : A redecoration of an old impossible 1.9 level of the same name. Agree on the edgy cringe name thingy. #43 - Fragile : A remake of extreme demon level "Kowareta", which is on the demon list actually. "Kowareta" means "broken" in japanese and fragile stuff breaks easily. #47 - Calculator Core : This is a extended remake of the 2.0 extreme demon "Artificial Ideology" by creator team TeamN2. I believe the initial name of the level or the codename before it was unveiled was "Calculator Core", which gave its name to this remake. Feel free to give any more suggestions P.S. : Sorry if this feels like a novel of some sort or this is too long, I just wanted to sort some things out with what was said in this video
  • @runitsacow
"this word is cosmos if it was spelled by an idiot" you just made the entire russian gd community furious lmao
  • Real quick i just want to mention something about fragile. Its actually just the name of the song used in the level.
