About 5% of people could have thyroid nodules or swelling which is very normal.You can self check for any irregularities in thyroid galnd. Its a butterfly shaped gland located just below adam apple.You can do self exam as shown by the doctor in video.

    I feel nodules that are symmetrical on both sides. Is this normal or should I not feel any nodules at all?
