Cop attends wedding of baby he saved 20 years ago

This man attended every single one of her birthdays since the day he saved her. I can understand why she sees him as her second father. He even refers to her as his little girl in the interview.

She is stunning. Her family is just lovely. And the cop is sure making his relatives feel very grateful to have him.

He tries so hard not to smile when she said he’s like a second father. Great man. Hope I can be half the man he is.

She’s looks so gorgeous in her wedding dress. Saving a life is a big thing. You save a whole generation potentially.

Please note: the Christian cop sends Christmas cards to the Muslim lady. And she appreciated everyone of the cards. In the end, there is enough room and love for all type of kindness.

Love this. In the 60s, my granddad (rookie cop at the time) saved a baby who stopped breathing. After he passed away, I found a letter from her parents to the police commissioner. They said he immediately grabbed her and gave her CPR for 30m straight until more help arrived, including a doctor (this was the 60s). He would not give up on her. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had a successful surgery and was doing well. They were so grateful for him and said they tried to make donations to the police benevolent fund etc and my granddad refused them.. he was just doing his duty and didnt need praise. And to prove it, we never knew all those years until I found the letter tucked away in a binder of his important documents.

What a class act. This man is beyond a hero.

45 years???? Makes me think of my own dad... He’s 77 and still working for the same boss for 51 years and counting... Not because he has to... But because he loves what he does...
