I just noticed that when Camilo hit his back on the table he also knocked over the tea kettle he was serving to Pepa. So he tanked a lightning bolt to the face, a table to the back and, depending on the quality of his shoes, ceramic shrapnel and third degree burns to his foot all in a couple of seconds.

Camillo’s part about “we don’t talk about Bruno” was purely middle child energy. You cannot say that man is 7ft. Camilo was just trying to give Mirabel a scare

Imagine if Bruno dresses his rats in green and says “Abuela meet your new grandchildren”

Things I would love to see if Encanto got it's own series: - Pepa's side of the family - How pepa's side deals with the trauma each of their gifts bring - Dolores and Camilo getting a solo song - a cute duo song with julietta and Augustin - Mirabel's relationship with each member from Pepa's side - the madrigal triplets - more building and healing of each of the family relations. - bruno interacting with his nieces and nephews

Pepa’s side of the family is the most dangerous 😭😭😭 Like the reason why the village was helping them rebuild their home was because of Dolores has black mail on all of them

I love how each side of the family has their own color scheme and Abuela and Bruno are a mix of both Pepa’s side has warm colors (red, yellow, and orange) and julietas side has cool colors (blue and purple)

don't know if it's just me but has anyone else noticed that each triplet's side of the family all have gifts that sort of fall under the same category?? like pepa's side all have gifts related to communication (emotional expression, superhuman hearing, shapeshifting to other people, talking to animals) whereas julieta's side are related to more physical traits (healing of wounds, aesthetic beauty, strength). Makes me think what bruno's side of the family would be blessed with.. maybe talking to the dead or timetraveling? like more spiritually oriented gifts??

I like how Felix's grey hair is all in a straight row, implying that he might have been zapped at one point by Pepa's lightning.

I like the nicknames they have for each other, like how Felix calls Pepa “Pepi” and Pepa calls Antonio “Tonito”. So cute!

Pepa can easily become enraged and cause a mass destruction. Dolores can listen in and learn all your secrets and use it as blackmail. Camilo can shapeshift as you and frame you. Antonio can talk to your pets and convince them to murder you in your sleep. And Felix can use his comedic skills to distract authorities while the others commit mass genocide. Beautiful family.

And this is why I want an Encanto series. The movie gave us a taste, but a whole series focusing on the entire family will really give even more on the Pepa side.
