M2: "You can't do this to me... YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I SACRIFICED!?" 😔
  • @Quad_Nods
The masculine urge to mount this to the top of my stairs pointing at the front door is crazy rn.

As a former M60/M240 machine gunner, I am really impressed by this machine gun. Honestly, having a folding but stock is brilliant for anyone under 6ft humping a machine gun around. Thanks for showing this impressive weapon. Unfortunately, since this appears to perform so well, it is doubtful the US Military, especially the Army, will ever select this weapon.

German Ex machinegunner here: When i was in the service, whenever we were allowed to hip-fire the mg3, we called it "Hollywood-Style", "Ami-Style" (ami for american) or simply Rambo-Style.So i had a good laugh at the Rambo-comment. But that shit was 7.62 ! Incredible that you can fire a round like this from the hip without doing a backflip. Still wouldn't wanna carry that shit for 10 hours.

“Raw Milk” Jones is making those 338s look like 5.56s.

    Engage targets out to 5400m
that’s almost 5.5km brings a new meaning to “go ahead and run, you’ll just die tired.”
  • 30% less moving parts than an M240 mean it's at least 30% more reliable than an M240 as the more moving parts create more chances of reliability problems. I'm impressed with this weapon. I wish it was available in Afghanistan it would have helped us a lot as the terrain was so difficult. It's great to be able to take that kind of firepower anywhere on foot without wheels. Great demo, thanks.
  • As a former 240B gunner I think I'm in love. The new kids don't know how good they got it ;)

It's crazy to me how much suppressors have become such a common thing. Soon it'll be weird to not have one on a fighting weapon
  • @johnsanko4136
Dude spent more money on ammo during the first slow mo clip than most people spend at an entire range day.
  • @CR67
This presents me with a difficult choice. I only have room left on my mancave wall for two Javelin missiles and one of those robot dogs with the mounted rifle, but I want one of these on display, too.
  • “Weak rounds like .308 and .556”
..you made my AR and Sako cry at the same time man.

Perfect timing for this video, guys. For anyone who doesn't know, True Velocity just filed a lawsuit against Sig alleging the theft of trade secrets for the recoil mitigation technology used in this gun. This MG, and its internal recoil system, were initially developed by General Dynamics. You can actually see General Dynamics' name on the side plate at 0:20. The lead design engineer of this MG and its internal recoil system worked at GD for nearly 20 years. He then went to Sig in 2014. Just four years later, Sig had their own .338 belt-fed MG built and ready to enter into the US military competition. Now Sig is being sued for (allegedly) stealing the design of the recoil mitigation system used in their .338 MG.

The ballistic gel test is three nightmares rolled into one package. Man, that's not a bad day when you're shot by one of those things, that's a whole extinction event!
  • @SoloGordo
The way you say “ You ready buddy?” to Micah is endearing almost like your teaching one of your kids to ride a bike ❀

17:15 in a military context, the primary goal of a suppressor is eliminating muzzle flash, sound is really secondary to that at least in a military context. Operate at night and honestly, sound isn't what is going to give you away, but the muzzle flash is. Sound reverberates, and if you operate in a valley or on the mountains, the noise is going to sound like its coming from all directions, and in any suitably built up environemnt, or an ambush with more than one base of fire, the enemy is going to struggle to locate concealed firers from sound alone. Signature supression, and the signature that will allow the enemy to get rounds into your fleshy bits is a super bright flash accurately showing where your rifle is.

WOW, what recoil??? That was tame AF!!! Ease of barrel changes are are awesome!!!😯
