5 Celebrations You Didn't Know Are Copied

Almost every superstar footballer has one trademark celebration, or at least, a celebration that is very often associated with them. But would you believe that some of these celebrations were copied?

Just imagine you found out that Cristiano Ronlado’s Siu was copied? Crazy, right? Well, there’s nothing to prove that it was copied, but here are 5 celebrations that were actually copied but you probably didn’t know.

  • The fact how Di Maria’s birthday is the 14th af February and does the heart celebration
  • Cristiano alone and being the first with 2 people most popular celebration in football history. Inspirational ❤
  • Ronaldo also did the finger to the head a few times in his first stint at United. Seems like a pretty common celebration
  • FYI: the finger in the head celebration was first popularized by Lisandro (Licha) Lopez from Olympic de Lyon. He is a star from Racing here in Argentina, but Tchouameni even said he was an idol for him and that's why he celebrated like that.
  • Nicklas Bendtner did the Rashford celebration first back when he played in Arsenal
  • @LoveBFFS7
Not surprised about the siiii celebration
  • @abensteve132
It's not about who copied from who or who did it first...it's about who first did it with swag and Rashford definitely wins here!
  • @shevvr
Messi raising his shirt in enemy territory is truly iconic and cold blooded 😈
  • It's true. Before Di Maria humans didn't know the heart existed.
  • Alexandre pato has done the heart celebration many times between 2005 and 2010
  • @notkurtcobain
Actually rashford did it on his debut season 15-16 technically its not a copy
  • @blindben4639
none of these are really copied they just happen to be the same
  • @ksw6513
The first 🥇🏆 does not get recognition... The second 🥈 and third 🥉 get more ...
  • Juninho used to do the holding up the kit number celebration back in days he was still playing in the brazillian league
  • Firmino one eye celebration against psg 2018 A lot of players copied that celebration as well
  • @favbish4468
It’s not about who did it first, it’s about who’s making it known and popular. Every skill in football has already been done by maradona but non has his name on it.
  • @LC337
Messi did it because it was his 600th or 700th career goal
  • Lord Bendtner Did The Celebration Long Before Rashford. A matter of fact it was during his Arsenal days.
