I'm from germany and my parents get at least one or two calls per week from such people pretending to be from microsoft. Luckily they are aware of this scam, so they immediately disconnect such calls.

Lewis saying "I am not a hacker" whilst connected to the scam victim's computer. 😂
  • @zippie6
Amazing how hard it is to convince the victims that they are being victimized.. how sad
  • @myfamilymatters
I can’t imagine how complex that was. Fantastic job Lewis. I hope that the woman listened to you. She sounded a bit unsure or shell-shocked by what happened. You are amazing.
  • @RealRanton
Love how the scammer tries to speak German 🤣

I'm in absolute awe of your skills Lewis. It's very unfortunate, yourself, Jim Browning, and Pirogie can't be on every minute of everyday to protect the whole internet, you are still way outnumbered by the scumbags, but for every battle you win it's one for the good guys. I get all me elder family and friends to watch your videos and subscribe to your channel in the hope that they can see how these scams work and they will also tell there friends and by educating our most vulnerable hopefully, it can prevent others falling victim. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Stay safe. Blessed Be
  • Great work Lewis Tech. I live in Switzerland and get calls every now and then. It’s ridiculous. Their English is even worse than mine 🤣

💖 the work you & other scambaiters do! I CANT imagine how frustrating it must be when victim doesnt listen!

The saddest part about this story and other stories like this is you are saving a bunch of people from getting scammed and they don’t even know about it. Great job in saving this woman. I will say thank you for doing this.
  • @clownshoe69
She sounded a little ungrateful... As if she preferred to have been scammed. I do feel sorry for anyone who gets scammed but you have to be pretty dumb to fall for it.

For everybody wondering : Handy means cellphone

These scammers freak out so easily. It's amazing that the victims don't pick up on this.
  • Brilliant just come by this in searches and this guy gets my subscription. Thank you for the great work. Love seeing scammers get hacked and lose everything

I live in Germany and we've had multiple Tech Scammers calling during January and February as we're in lockdown and a lot of people work from home. I've reported these calls to the Bavarian Police and they've made a press statement warning people. Also my calls will go into the statistics. It won't stop these scammers, but it raises awareness.

Lewis, the tactic of use a message in notepad is very good. You should keep a txt file with this same warning and open it in the victim's PC. Maybe have another for use it on the scammer's PC.
  • @DEYOCLUB
Fantastic work as always Lewis! They refresh over and over and over again when they're scared! Love it!!!
  • @newnemesis666
Well done, Lewis. It's always satisfactory when a victim is saved and the scammers are scared as well xD
