Hi Rob. Great video for the newbie. Any chance you could do a video on Thinners. Because many video's out there saying "use thinners" but not saying they mean solvents (acetone, benzene, toluene xylenes etc. Nor do they say it's 'alcohol' like anhydrous ethanol or IPA. I think this subject is where people get gunged up airbrushed or destroyed paints. I know it could be a big area to cover. Just a thought. 😮 Hope you keep up the good work.

Great airbrushing instructional video, it is an "All you wanted to know about airbrushing, but were afraid to ask" video.

"Beginners" and what they/we need/want is what you should focus on. Personally, I'd like to see from start to finish process. I mean right from the beginning of picking the subject of a portrait, to putting it on the grid, picking your specific colours and so on and giving an opportunity to follow. Oh, and leaving links to products used is good form. Thanks for this one.

Cheers for this. I just got my first airbrush yesterday and although I’d done a shed load of research, it’s good to have all this here in the one video to remind me. One thing I did do different, after setting everything, was to spray some water through to check it was all working okay. My thinking was, if there was a defect straight from the factory and I stripped it down, I would be thinking it was because of something I had done wrong whilst putting it back together and not that there was already something wrong with the airbrush (like a missing o ring or something) Was glad I did as, although it was fine with just air, soon as I put the water in, it bubbled in the cup (which would have been right messy if I’d used paint straight off!) I automatically checked the front cap and it was a little bit loose. Tightened it up, and it stopped bubbling but was pulsing slowly with the spray so I tightened it up a bit more (still with my fingers) and that seemed to sort that as well thankfully as the pulsing was more of a concern than the bubbling for some reason 🤷🏻‍♂️(prob because I was worried that opened up a whole new possibility, with the compressor maybe being the cause lol) So I’m now up n running and already done me first portrait! Well, I say portrait, it was really just a smiley face but it’s a start 😆 Just got to avoid the temptation of diving in and spraying my models before I get fully used to using the brush with some of those exercises! Tbh, not sure if it is just me or the Ultra, but that trigger sequence does just feel natural. Again, thanks for all the vids and tips. Has been really helpful. And sorry for gibbering on (if any of it is gibberish, it’s 1:30am and I’m knackered so sorry for that as well lol)

Hi, can you ask me a question? Tattoo ink is used for artistic work, on shirts and other surfaces... and acrylic inks adhere well to fabric. example on shirts. thanks.
  • @deanbrown7643
