10% of this life is enjoyable but the rest is dogshit. People who die young are the lucky ones.

Life is about as enjoyable as spending the entirety of your life going to and participating in school, working a job, paying taxes, going grocery shopping, doing stuff you donā€™t want to do, getting bullied, being outcasted, being lied to/about, losing all your loved ones, losing all your money, aging and having health problems, suffering immensely on every level, etc.

Depression is not just a disorder that makes someone sad. Depression is understanding the fact that everything we do in our lifeā€™s wonā€™t matter at all in the long run and that all of our hobbies, passions, interests, etc. are simply just distractions from this meaningless existence. Depression is forcing living creatures into this existence without their consent knowing that they will inevitably experience pain, suffering, misfortune, tragedy, death, etc. Depression is wasting the majority of our time, energy and life having to go to school, work a job, do chores, pay taxes, go grocery shopping and do everything else that we loathe having to do in life. Depression is the absence of receiving even the slightest amount of basic human dignity, respect, compassion, etc. from the people and world around us. Depression is being viewed as failures by our parents, teachers, friends, family members, strangers, society, etc. if we donā€™t meet the overabundance of random and arbitrary expectations that they have of how we should live our own lifeā€™s. Depression is being taught that we may have to continue existing even after this life is over because there may be some kind of eternal afterlife after our deaths or we may be reincarnated back into this worthless, terrible, evil, etc. existence again. Depression is being expected by our governments, schools and society to work as hard as we can until our mental, emotional, physical, etc. health has completely deteriorated and we drop dead from overexerting ourselves. Depression is living in a world where we have to rely on/work for a stupid piece of green paper in order to have anything in life and the only other option we are given when we donā€™t want to work is to go homeless which could lead to us starving to death, freezing to death and/or potentially being beat up, stabbed, murdered, etc. by some immoral thug(s) on the side of the street Depression is the natural/default mental state for all of those who are honest with themselves about how meaningless, painful, boring, cruel, evil, unfair, torturous, etc. this / their existence truly is. Depression is not having a way to escape this existence. Depression is having to continue existing. Depression Is Life / Existence Itself.

I'm so tired of having to eat every day and shop every week. I've swam with elephants in thailand and saw the northern lights in Iceland, and I hated just about every minute of those trips. I realized watching ads and commercials is much more enjoyable than being around people and doing the actual things myself.

Itā€™s ignorant of society to call us losers for not wanting to live, work our entire lifeā€™s away for money or work towards getting the stereotypical things in life when we never wanted or even asked to live this life in the first place.

I shouldā€™ve died at 4 years old when I nearly drowned on a vacation in a pool, sadly my uncle saved me šŸ˜¢ was so close to escaping šŸ˜•

"The more I learn about the world, the less I understand why I'm here"
  • have you ever noticed that people who have this type of mindset are separated from eachother. itā€™s very rare to find someone IRL to talk to about these things. almost as if it was intentional from the start..

The only thing i enjoy is sleep, which as nas said is the cousin of death.
  • My parents are one of the most toxic individuals out there and yet they always put on this facade of "positive people", it's just so pathetic and fake, would be cool if you made a video about toxic positivity
  • Yep that's why for most people your childhood years are the best....you will have more adventures in one summer than you will in ten years as an adult

ā€œLife is not engaging . Not rewarding. Itā€™s not stimulating enough for meā€. I feel the same way.. Itā€™s stale. Itā€™s the same things over and over againā€”work, bills, taxes, car registration. All forced activities that consume your life.

Same for me. Co vid was the last straw for me. After seeing how mindlessly people really went with everything the "news" just told them to do. Cant hold it back anymore. This whole thing is a big joke!
