As someone who’s touch deprived this video hits hard. Never cuddled before.

As someone who’s cuddled a stuffed bear and a girlfriend. I can confirm, these facts are true. 😌✨

While dating my wife many years ago, she had her wisdom teeth removed and developed dry sockets. It is a very painful condition. I cuddled with her on the sofa and stroked her head for hours. She said it made the pain less. Now I know why.

  • The fact that y’all managed to put Gregory and Glamrock Freddy in here just made my oxytocin go up
  • It’s been so long since I last had a hug or gave out one to anyone. If the pandemic ever comes to an end, I want to start giving out as many hugs and cuddles as I can. ❤️

It's why I still cuddle with my baby blanket. Feels comforting.
  • POV: You’re that one friend that hugs someone every 5 seconds so that’s why I hardly get sick :D
  • Cuddling is actually the worst thing for my mental health because it’s addictive, and if the relationship ends I then experience withdrawal symptoms 24/7 until my next relationship

That last one I really resonate with, I have really bad anxiety, and I’m really shy, one day in one of my classes , someone in the class just started hugging everyone in the class, idk why exactly, but when they got to me and hugged me, I felt a lot of my stress just go away, and felt a lot more motivated to talk to people, I was overall just happier for the rest of the day

When you have trust issues, and are touch adverse as well as touch starved, it's hard to let yourself be vulnerable enough to approach someone you're close to for a hug or cuddle.

My new friends and I always hug. I never got hugged like this many times and now that it’s happening, it makes me so happy it became something I like needed everyday. This video is so true <3

I actually hate being touched, which means when someone hugs me I feel uncomfortable, but if I open up to someone hugging me I'm fine, it just depends on the person. I actually don't let my own family hug me, it's rare for me to let them hug me, I've only gotten use to 1 person hugging me, and they are a close friend like a sibling. I can hug stuffed animals because they make me calm down, even let my emotions out!

i was so touch starved until i met my girlfriend, sometimes when we just started dating if we hugged or cuddled, my chin would literally shake uncontrollably from happiness. < 3

Nothing beats a good hug. I love hugging my friends, or my parents. Covid made it hard and it made me realize once more how much I appreciate hugs.
  • to everyone who is doing homework, leave the chat, breathe slowly, take a sip of water, and focus to everyone who is trying to sleep, leave the chat, grab a blanket, and get the rest you deserve. to everyone who is feeling sad, grab a snack, get some water, get a blanket, and write down your thoughts. when you're done, lay down, and get some rest, no matter the time. to everyone who is drawing, you got this. you're art is amazing. keep your head up (or down, depends on where your paper is) and remember that you matter. i love you all:virtualhug::sanitizer::sanitizer::sanitizer:
