Personally, I'd recommend Varna by Brazilian Mapping, it's a really good mapping series that is based upon Europe in 1444

Just so you know, this series was started before the Russo-Ukrainian war, which explains the ridiculously eazy Russian invasion. This was a great video, I suggest you watch all the other volumes, and trust me, there's gonna be some surprises.

drew, if you’d like, there are many more videos of this genre, and my suggestion is for you to watch Gauche by Frkon. to me and to many it is one of the best mapping series of all time, and it has some more complexity behind it which i think is really good and really hard to do (since your basically telling a full story with just countries). would definitely recommend, and glad to see you’ve finally discovered (at least a small bit) of the mapping community!

Drew. This is a mapping series. Mappers aren't predicting the future. Mappers are making an alternate future scenario just for funsies. In this specific series, Alternate Future of Your World, Kyiv Mapping and his fans, making comments in each episode, make the series together. Which, I guess since I've watched every episode of this series and made one (unsuccessful) suggestion in the comments of one of the more recent episodes, I guess that technically includes me, too.

There are mappers who make alternate HISTORIES as well. I highly recommend FALCON Mapping's "Renovatio Imperii" or Moro Mapping's "Alternate Past of Europe" if you're interested.

Hi, if you want to see the more complex side of storytelling mapping you should check out Tempus Angelum by Ilisian. It is definitely a lot more complex than this kind of mapping but its still cool!
