Taylor is a legend. People don't realise that to create each album with such a different theme and to make sure that all the albums released has a complete different mood so that it does not feel monotone , and to keep the audience engaged with the same level of interest in all the albums over the years is really really tough. And she has done that so well.

it's really impressive how she builds tension with this song.. it's really mostly one "chord" for much of the time, particularly in the verses. even the pre-chorus is the same note. it makes the chorus progression so rewarding when it hits.
