I saw this match live and was shocked. Around midnight in the USA and probably 9 hours ahead in India. The entire match reminded me of a chess book or article written decades ago by an English (UK?) author, sorry I don't remember the author, that fantasized how chess might become in the future, if it becomes popular, in that Kasparov (?) and Anand (?) would play in a stadium in a sound proof booth while spectators would cheer them on. The passage concluded this would be a nice fantasy. Well here's an instance of life imitating art. Well played and if gambling on chess becomes popular, it would be even more "interesting"?!

Hans is the most improved player since few years, the ratings don't say much. Only thing is he makes stupid blunders. If he stops doing that or reduces then he can be top 10 player
