This is a very special song to me. It was playing on the radio as I was steaming down the road far too fast having been told my one day old son had been rushed into the SCBU. If you listen to the lyrics imagining new parents looking at - and unable to hold - their one day old child in an incubator hooked up to various medical monitors they take on a very different meaning: ‘I believe in a thing called love, just listen to the rhythm of my heart, there’s a chance we can make it now, we’ll be rocking’ til the sun goes down…’

Halocene is absolutely incredible and her vocal range is massive.

It's great to see you being so generous. A lot of bands (I'm looking at you Eagles, in particular) would not only refuse to acknowledge these covers, but will actively strive to have them removed and blocked. I really don't see the sense in that. It's not like we are going to buy their version of the song instead of your's, and it keeps your version in people's minds. The Darkness are still current because we haven't forgotten you, and these covers are part of that.

The fact the song can be done in so many different styles, is a sign of its greatness.

This is what the internet and YouTube was invented for! A video of a rockstar watching artists perform covers of one of their songs. And how brilliant are those covers!

I’m not usually into going to see live performances of bands that only perform covers, but the spins PMJ put on tracks make it so worthwhile. I’ve seen them multiple times, and try to go every time they tour near me.
