Midweek Inspiration Meditation: Stress Relief Meditation

Published 2021-12-08
Take a break with a boost of Yoga inspiration! You are worth taking time for some self-care to nourish your mind, body, and emotions.
Sometimes we get dominated or defined by our “to-do” list. Despite rushing and working we still find ourselves feeling empty and depleted. It’s time for a revolution of moving into harmony with our busy lives by practicing the art of sitting in meditation.

Meditation gives the ability to withstand our own discomfort; which develops our tolerance for difficult situations.

Meditation teaches the ability to soothe our wounds; which builds our compassion and empathy.

Meditation helps us observe the limitations of our thinking; bringing growth in our intellectual capacity.

Revolution gets a lot of press these days; especially the angry and righteous kind. Balancing this with a revolution of our inner lives points a way forward that will build equity, harmony, and tolerance.

Practice with me and learn a simple and relaxing breathing technique from the Integral Yoga tradition. This breathing practice will help you learn to release stress, mental tension, and calm your stress response.

Always sending peace,
Gita

We breathe 20,000 times a day! I doubted myself because it seems like so many, but our body is amazing!

The psychologist I mentioned is Dr. Carter. He has two YouTube channels; one general psychology, the other is about Narcissistic Abuse. I have found both valuable. youtube.com/c/DrLesCarter
