that dog actor deserved all the awards
  • so i only recently learned this bit of trivia: the ship the thing crashed in was not it's own. it was ANOTHER alien species that it had infected and THEY crashed into earth so it wouldnt get to their home. and they werent transporting it, it attacked/hitched a ride with them

Also, I died when Benji said, "I don't know which end is the autopsy and which end is the aubottomsy." lol!
  • @lizatesser
My sugestion for a movie is Ready or Not (2019) which is actually a horror comedy slasher type story. Very funny, very fast paced and gory, a good find in recent horror.
  • @victoriadavislg
The dog in this movie is one of the best dog actors ever I listened to commentary from john carpenter and he said he the most amazing dog hes met
  • @misti-step
7:10 "i want a big dog" "i want a big hat" 😂😂 love u guys!!! have a great new year
  • @Zbeez754
Not Rizzo spoiling the creature in the first 30 seconds 😂 for real tho, I love this movie and this reaction is great, can’t wait to see more of your scary very serious reactions!
  • @angrybrony
fun fact: there's concept art for scrapped pilot for thing tv mini series that would have taken place in a dessert.
  • @CherryCarry
The autopsy and aubottomsy killed me and the crab leg resurrected me LMFAO
  • "now here's the thing" honestly, S tier joke 😂 but you did absolutely spoil benji about the dog and the journey we all must go through of "wtf leave the dog alone" to "i dont trust that dog for a fuckin second" lol
  • This movie holds a special spot, it was one of the first horror movies my dad had me watch (I was probably 6 or 7) and loved it 😂
  • @ethanahmu6149
Benji is right - the thing was being transported by the aliens in the ship and it escaped.

Have either of you seen Train to Busan? It's FANTASTIC, and usually, I have a tough time with foreign language films because ADHD but that one has me gripped from start to finish. Honestly it's SO SO good
  • @Ghostygoose1997
"Invasion of the Body Snatchers(1978)", "The Bad Seed(1956)", and "Carnival of Souls (1962)", are pretty good ones to watch.

my dad is a helicopter pilot who did ten tours in Antarctica (between 1984 and 1996). This movie is a family favourite, but he's always said the least realistic thing in the whole movie is Kurt Russell's stupid cowboy hat 😂(and yes, you do need a sign for the tail rotor…)

This movie was one of the first to genuinely have me on edge and I still love it. The fear of the unknown, the fear of betrayal and realizing you don't really know people at all, the body horror, and finding out what kind of person you are and doing what's right when it matters most, all on the back drop of the very real fear of being hopelessly stuck in an isolated and hostile environment - gah, it's just chefs kiss. The ending is still soo perfect for the story too. They freeze to death as they should or maybe one of em gets got by the other bc surprise monster. I don't know, I don't care - either way ty for nightmares I guess.
  • @artistmachine
You should watch The Faculty. It's like and 90s teen based horror movie of The Thing.
  • @EchanteDante
THIS MOVIE IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE THE FIRST TIME YOU WATCH IT GOING IN BLIND. I WAS ABSOLUTELY INTHRALLED WITH THE MYSTERY AND TERROR OF THE TERRIFYING SPECIAL EFFECTS.
  • @lkf8799
I recommend Stir of Echoes. Good creepy ghost story mystery 👻 and it has Kevin Bacon 😜 One of my favs and it doesn't get enough love. Blair was himself when he sabotaged the communications. He didn't want the Thing to spread. When they put him outside someone got to him. You can see the noose where he was going to take himself out but didn't get the chance. This is one of the few ambiguous movie endings that I really liked.
