The information is very useful and you present it so eloquently. I was watching one of my regular fashion influencer YouTube videos the other day and she was sharing how she stays so slim at the age of 60. One of her viewers commented on how she noticed recently how bloated she was and was very distraught about it. I recommended your channel and suggested that it may be the foods she is eating because that is what I experienced when I reached menopause. This knowledge about the microbiome, leaky gut, etc. has helped me tremendously. I started working with a dietitian since 2017 and read books about the microbiome. Thank you for what you do.

First time i found on net trying to address the leaky gut problem holistically. Thanks Doc. ❤❤❤
  • I like that approach: to judge according to the body responds to foods and supplements and only secondarily by the lab tests.Hungary,Europe.

Great Video Dr. Ruscio. I am on the Great in 8 plan and succumbed to recovering swiftly and feeling amazing by eating a lot of carbs and sugars on two days. I felt like i reversed my progress because I felt the bacteria/fungus grow back in a "wildfire" manner. Things have calmed down though but I feel good, do you think I should reset the protocol? (Currently on biota 2a+2b)
  • Wow, I've never heard this explained so simply. Thank you because this saves so much time and money going down pathways that don't work! I do have some questions though. What does one do if they're allergic to foods on the low/safe side? Eat a very restrictive diet - which concerns me because I've developed nutritional deficiencies from it - or eat them in low quantities until a reaction occurs? Also, I believe maltodextrin is derived from corn. What alternative is available for an elemental diet if I'm allergic to corn? Thanks again!!

I have food allergies. I used clostridium butyrate probiotics and vitamin e to help my leaky gut .
