After watching EVO top 24, yes Dragunov definitely deserves to be in a tier of his own. 50% of the Top 6 players at the biggest TEKKEN tournament of all time are playing Dragunov. There were 9 out the top 24 players at EVO that played Dragunov. I lost count of the amount of Dragunov mirror matches during the end of the tournament and thats not including the matches that were off stream (for example, Ulsan v LowHigh was also a Dragunov mirror).

I dont get why are you so confused about this tierlist? You do realise this is Arslan's tierlist, meaning how HE perceives characters when he faces them. So its purely subjective based on his own strengths and experience when playing other pros. A guy in ranked can find 50 problems with Howrang listing all the shit he has, but Arslan is like that doesn't bother me, so he places him all the way down. Whenever a tekken pro publishes a tierlist, its reflection of what they find problematic or not, rather than creating an objective list that applies to everyone.

To Lee: FF3 that's just a heat engager that everybody has, everything that lee has somebody else does it better and/or less risky. He is good but without something in heat (and heat is obviously the meta lmao) it's super difficult to constantly win with him

Reina doesn't have a single person playing her in evo top 32 and has pretty much 0 results offline and online but somehow reina is still god tier according to TMM

If you ever feel useless or bad about yourself just know that Tekken 8 Devs spent months to design these balance patches(1.04+1.05) to balance/replace Drag Feng Nina on the tier lists with Drag Feng and you guessed it Nina 😂😂.

45:00 Lee's biggest strength is his punishment, he only has b33 to open turtles which is launch punishable, every single just frame is a high, his "amazing" 10f punish requires a high level of execution especially online , his reset at the wall although strong easily avoidable, his heat stuff is terrible compared to the other characters in the game ff3 is a i14 launcher which is good but Paul has a i13 heat launcher and he already deals huge damage Lee's slide is shit even though it's safe from long range there is no knockdown no oki no pressure meaning slide mix ups are underwhelming his powercrush is a high with no range. His heat smash takes a year to come out and doesn't even wallsplat. WS2,3 into bound is one of the few moves Lee has to mess up somebody. In Tekken 8 Lee lacks the tools to play aggressively which is the whole theme of the game, to win as Lee you have to be the better player you need to consistently outsmart your opponent and be knowledgeable on a variety of characters from much lower ranks while the rest of the cast can just force you to deal with their shit 24/7 I would love to know what make Lee such a strong character

Everytime a character needs to be demonized TMM's fans do what they do best. Compare the character to Kazuya. "Jin is good because 2 more Jin mains got into top 32 while Kazuya only has Keisuke doiiii" says the most sane TMM fan. Why do other characters have to suffer just because you decide to play something that you consider to be handicapped?

The Lee placement is crazy. But hey, that's free buffs from Harada 😂

the reason Arslan placed steve and paul so high is because of strong players like Numan Ch and Heera who always annoy him with their skills .
