When I started this channel, I worked in a lab. However, after I left that job I had to do all my chemistry and filming in my parents' garage. It was dangerous and sometimes scary, but lately, I've been feeling like I miss it. So, I decided to go back and make scary bromine (one of my favorite elements) in the garage and to see if I actually miss how things were.

"Are you winning son?" suffocates on floor
  • "Dad can we make bromine?" "yes, as long as it's not a nuclear weapon"
  • @dwaterson21
"That one exploded in an accidental lithium fire" Nah, bro, we ain't skipping past that
  • @The1337Duke
Nile: "Exuse me, do you still sell Sodium Bromite?" Clerk: "Nah, it's illegal now, people were using it to cook Bromine in their Garage, can you imagine?" Nile: *𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐲 - "lol yeah, u wouldn't want that"
  • @kyledevos5458
Nile: "I miss the struggle." Nile in the struggle: "I don't like it here."
  • Nile's Chemist friends: "you will die if you do this" Nile: "oh no, anyway..."
  • your dad seems like the chillest dude on the face of the earth

"Not a nuclear weapon, I'm fine." Just a viable chemical weapon.
  • @Roman-hg6rg
"Isn't exactly the safest thing to do" Sounded like Canadian slang for "A fucking bad idea"

When Nile stops uploading, it can either be him researching a ton, or, he kicked the bucket while doing a wild experiment. And if the latter ever happens, I'm to be super sad, I hope it never happens.

“I love my lab, it’s so much better than the garage” “I’m going back to the garage to see how bad it was” “The garage is pretty bad, I love my lab even more” “I’m moving”
  • @zell9058
Lol when his dad popped in the door I was expecting a “Are ya winning son?”
  • @davecSFD
The fact you built that lab with your dad is awesome. Cherish the time you have together. I lost my father a few years ago and I wish I could have done more with him. Your father seems like a great person from his appearances in your videos. You're a lucky guy. Don't take it for granted.
  • When his dad said "as long as it's not a nuclear weapon I'm fine" Those words aren't a joke, he is making sure the verbal contract includes that he can't make nukes in the garage anymore

I love how he says "I then thanked my parents" as if it's part of a lab report.
  • His parents are so... positive! Nile: "What if I just have overconfidence?" The mom: "Then we all die!" happy chuckles
