Anyone who knows a little about vocals will know that this was totally planned and staged by Simon Cowell, rather than a spontaneous idea to make them sing a capella! The whole arrangement was meant to be a cappella even before they got in the plane! Great performance bar Simon’s theatrics!

Simon, sometimes I have to applaud you, but that's what makes you so successful in the music industry. Hearing them sing A'Capella, they made their own "track" [music]. It was beautiful!! I felt like I was in church listening to an astounding song being sung to the Lord.
