With the smaller ships like the Connie, you don't have to tow. You can just hook up and QT jump. It's quicker. Yu can't QT jump with larger ships like the HH though, so you do have to tow them.

If you set up a reclaimer Crew just outside the Yella asteroid belt. You could claim the missions for Connie sized ships and jump them to your reclaimer crew. They can strip the ships while you are off getting the next one :)

I'm sure you know, but you can middle mouse click to switch nav mode to nav flight to get rid of annoying quantum calibrating noise 7:36

heh, the other day i kept getting "Friendly Fire" warnings while trying to scrape a legal salvage contract, so i got out, hopped in the seat....the ship was fully working? like, i could power it up, move, weapons worked, etc. It was an Arrow, and i just found the situation bizzare

Well, the big downside to this is it can take quite a while before you get another one of those missions. I did one and then sat through four mission refreshes without getting another.

So simply sitting in the pilot's seat will make the game think it's your ship, and then you can tow it [with ignoring the prompts ofc]? You don't have to do anything special other than sit in the chair? Love watching your videos! Great job! -Sentinel

Heh. Well I just found out that going into the personnel lift (the forward cockpit lift) on those Connies will kill you. So watch out for that.

I make more in 10 mins doing a merc mission for 30k .. this seems like a waste of time unless you're doing the top level rep missions..

STAR-V7S9-F595 Never thought to try towing for illegal salvage, I was doing those missions with my vulture once completed I quantum and dropped out at a random place thinking I was safe, but nope got hit by NPCs while moving boxes down below.😂😢

I understand that ppl use this, but it unfair for ppl that want to salvage. The missions are this way unavailable.
