You WON'T BELIEVE the First Steps to Buying a Ford Mustang GTD! (Here's how I'm doing it)

Austin, one of the reasons that I subscribed to your channel and interact with you is that you come across as a genuinely "good guy". I don't know you personally, but through your videos and your interactions with people in your videos throughout the years you've always come across as warm and empathetic. You never judge and seem to try and see the best in everyone and each situation. I like that kind of positivity. This has nothing to do with the GTD, but the kind of person someone is means more than a car so I wanted to share my views. Of course I hope you get the GTD too, but if you don't - eh, there will be more cars.

I’d say you have a private collection rather than a public collection… like a museum. But you’d be a perfect person for Ford to give an allocation to.

Austin, big corporations often use a metric to establish a score. Once that is complete a group will establish the viability and feasibility score (Business case value). so now you'll have who's qualified and who will provide the best return to Ford. Then they take a number of those allocations and give them to VIPs. Whatever left is then sorted by build / cost and customer priority. Bet your bottom dollar Ford wants the biggest splash first to drive the interest up. Outside of VIPs, a large social media presence will probably be first. I don't have that due to work restrictions but hopefully my other things will help to offset that. I'd suspect you'll rank high given the criteria on the application. GLHF

Hi Austin, You’re right to think owning competitor autos could help or be a hindrance. So could half of the other questions. You don’t really know their motive in each question I think you’ve done the right thing by being perfectly honest I have my fingers crossed for you.

I think you will get picked because they will make more then people will even apply (unless they are making super limited and less then 100) first there’s not many people buying 300,000 dollar cars. Second those who are are not thinking of FORD mustang when spending 300,000 dollars (GT DONT COUNT). Third people who are going to spend this much aren’t going to think yeah ima go beg for a ford mustang hence why there won’t be many applications. Can’t wait to see it on the channel. ✌️
