  • This is the super Hi Tech equivalent of having all the wiring in your house just hanging off the walls.
  • Such a stark contrast to the Dragon2. Iโ€™m not necessarily knocking Starliner - if it works, it works - but you canโ€™t help but notice a massive difference between the way these two vehicles were designed. Itโ€™s like Boeing used as many off the shelf parts/designs to get this thing flying.

I'm glad to see humans in space are getting along much better than their respective governments on Earth right now.

It's nice to see another launch service provider added to the list, welcome to the club boeing ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿš€

Guys, airlines haven't removed physical switches and knobs from their fleet's cockpits just because it's the 2020s and tablets are everywhere. So crewed spacecraft can absolutely have them, too. A lot of astronauts are former military pilots, so this layout might be easier and more intuitive for them to learn. Pressurized gloves can be clumsy to work with, so having a bigger button to press can be better for the crew. Also, Starliner looks cluttered because it's carrying a significant cargo payload. Crew rotation flights carrying 4 astronauts won't have all those cargo pallets onboard. It's good to test Starliner flying with a somewhat higher launch mass than a typical mission on this demo flight.

Thank you for the tour! No space unused! God bless you both! Proud to be an American !!

Love all spacecraft, but a bit surprised to see how "old fashioned " the control panel is. Lots of analogue switching.
  • @NOLNV1
Love that big control panel, I can only imagine all the crazy functionality
  • Its not docked, its stuck The fact that this is the last video of them moments before catastrophe is chilling, rest in peace
  • Awesome! Have a safe stay and trip back home ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ
  • Fantastic! Thank you so much . Didn't realise such a tight cockpit . But thank you for the tour ๐Ÿ‘

You two be safe up there!! ๐Ÿ’ซ๐ŸŒ ๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ˜Š

Having 3 vehicles capable of getting up there is fantastic, more is always better but until they start making spacecraft less claustrophobic I think Ill keep my feet planted on the Earth. Still prefer the polished look of the SpaceX vehicles.

Their positivity about this Boeing craft has probably been dampened now that all the technical problems have surfaced and they're already a week overdue from returning because they have to try and sort out the issues before the return flight. Hopefully they return safely and Boeing can try to produce something more reliable next time.

Wow, the interior of this spacecraft looks really.. old. The screens not being CRTs and the tablet are about the only thing giving away that this wasn't a capsule interior designed in the 80s-early 2000s to me.
