"Survivors greatest players and Candace" Your delivery killed me

I never understood why James was so mad at Colby for aging. At least Colby was a challenge beast in his hay day. James couldn't even beat Courtney in his.
  • JT ran the heroes tribe! He may have ran it into the ground, but he was still steering the ship of the whole tribe

“Survivor’s greatest collection of characters… and Candice.” Laughed so hard at that, the most memorable thing she’s done IMO is get booted by her returnee tribe on Blood vs Water and just sit on Redemption Isle the whole time
  • Completely agree about Wigglesworth! I hadn’t even watched Borneo when I first watched Second Chance, but I still felt the hype and subsequent disappointment by her performance on the season

I was also disappointed with Russell’s return in Redemption Island but that was of no fault of his own. (Well I suppose it was considering his reputation was of his own making) his tribe decided to vote him out by throwing a challenge and the season never lived up to the epic Russell vs Rob storyline we were promised. :(

How is Fairplay not on the list?! I was so hyped to see him return, and how he would play the game now that people knew what they were dealing with. And then he quit. Huge disappointment.

I almost would put Yau-Man on Micronesia in a similar category as Rob Cesternino on All Stars. Two players who came up just short of winning their original seasons and for mostly that reason, other similar styled players opted to take them out of the equation right away.

Gotta defend JT here. Would agree if you said Gamechangers, but in HvV he took a huge risk that would've had a huge reward if he was right (and he honestly was partially right with Parvati). We obviously all knew what was really going on cuz we watched both tribes and experienced the dramatic irony, but if you look at it from just the Heroes side, an all women villain alliance kinda made sense in that era of survivor with Tyson, Rob, and Coach going back to back to back. We also have to remember that JT hadn't seen Samoa, and the only thing the cast was told about Russell was that he was definitely a villain. And while that's probably a clue to not give him an idol, it could also very well mean that he was just an asshole like Randy and not the strategic player Russell actually was. Idk, just my take I guess. I'd probably replace him with Danni in WaW. She was so many people's preseason sleeper pick, including Probst's, only to nuke her own game 6 days in for no reason. Great video though.

Awesome video! Would love to see the reverse of this - returnees who had little to no expectation and killed it (Parvati, Wentworth, Kimmi come to my mind)

Kind of expected to see Stephanie LeGrossa up here. She was America's dream girl after her first season where everyone wanted her to win, when she came back and was winning...the country lost their love for her and didn't want her to take the prize anymore and then she got a third shot and was gone super early with the same miserable attitude that she showed in her second showing. She's the only player that I can remember my Survivor friends being super hyped up for the return of and by the end, they were pretending they had never even rooted for her in the first place. It was disappointment on multiple levels.

Honestly Colby wasn’t terrible in heroes vs.Villains,he dodged quit a few bullets and was the last hero standing!
  • @Lsaldana92
Erik in FvF 2 he was purpled the whole time and he made it to top5...
  • @djmfogarty
Before watching the video in my opinion 1. Caleb - Game Changers 2. Aubry - Edge of Extinction 3. Russell Swan - Philippines 4. Vytas - Second Chances 5= Sugar - Heroes vs Villains 5= Bobby Jon - Guatemala
  • @aperson22222
I think if Tony does a better job in S34, he’s unable to decrease his threat level in S40 and spends multiple weeks on the Edge. So there’s nothing to criticize if you take the long view.
  • @Hockeyhobo89
Game Changers Tony walked so WaW Tony could run.
  • @YoshiDryBones
As much as everyone was disappointed with Colby in HvV, I can see him returning for one more shot, if that supposed Legends season ever comes to fruition. Also, 5/20 isn't too bad. Staying under the radar is a form of strategy, as seen with Sandra. It's just one we weren't expecting him of all people, to use.

I didn’t mind Wiglesworth’s return in Cambodia. Fifteen years can really change a person, apparently she didn’t take the bait in Cambodia and wouldn’t bring the drama like she did in season 1 which is why she got an invisible edit. Regardless of how she performed I love that she got a second chance, made it to the jury and I loved her final speech. Fully agree about JT and I was more disappointed with James in HvV than Colby, his attitude that season was too cringe.

"Your competition is a who's who of who's available." That just cracks me up.
