Kudos to this Sheriff and State Trooper. They handled these questions with dignity and respect for the dead.

This sheriff is wonderful the way he treated everyone involved with dignity and respect. He shows he knows that those who come to do the work most of would never do are just as important and human as anyone else.
-
Anybody that thinks that the Police is unnecessary, needs to have their head examined. Thank God for the Police Force.
-
This sheriff is a real human being.
-
What a compassionate and well spoken Sheriff. π

Six MONTHS to find out why a pickup truck driver crossed the center line? My condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of those killed and severely injured that may not survive. It doesn't matter "who" these people were - they were human beings with families and loved ones just trying to feed their families. This is so very sad. π’ππ½

Just awful! Prayers for families of the dead. Prayers for survivors. Prayers for all.
-
At this point it does not matter who they are or where they came from. Right now we just need to pray for them all and the families of the ones who died. May God be with the ones who are injured. I pray also for the law enforcement and the homicide investigation team will be able to find the cause and who was at fault.

It seems there is always one reporter that asks an unrelated question. Pray for all of the injured, deceased workers and drivers β€
-
Let the investigators do their jobs, photos, measurements, toxicology reports, interviews, etc.. it takes time. God bless everyone involved no matter where they're from.
-
That's terrible I'm sorry. Prayers for the victims families!
-
Reporters always ask the stupidest questions. This was a horrible, tragic accident. The victims immigration status has NOTHING to do with any of this. SMH.
-
Thank you Sheriff. You are so right. These migrant workers are hard workers. Excellent workers. My heart is with their families in this horrible situation. The pain that comes with tragic loss is so hard.
-
This is a whole lot of sadness for marian county prayers for all

I live in the panhandle and can honestly say ,"Everyone for the love of God ,slow down!" May some kind of peace from above be with everyone involved.
