Neben bescheidenem Wetter und kulinarischen Außergewöhnlichkeiten macht das grüne Schottland bei uns auch durch Indie-Rock vom feinsten auf sich aufmerksam. Nach Biffy Clyro drängt mit Frightened Rabbit eine weitere, vor Kraft strotzende Formation aus der pulsierenden Hauptstadt Glasgow ans Tageslicht der Indie-Welt.
2006 veröffentlichten die fünf Schotten ihr erstes Album „Sing the Greys“ auf einem lokalen Label. Nach zahlreichen Live-Performances gelang den leidenschaftlichen Musikern 2010 mit ihrer Platte „The Winter of Mixed Drinks“ der erste Durchbruch in den UK-Charts.

I have been watching this video, especially "Nothing Like You" for the last week. Grant is always a fine drummer but he is absolutely on fire here. You can tell that Grant is playing like this is the most important moment, like he loves the song and adores who he is playing it with. Simply an amazing performance. I miss you lads

This gig meant a lot to them. You can see how much they're putting into it. Not that they never did, with any performance. Always passionate. Even just Scott doing an acoustic in the street, but they're really going for it here.
