Seven Hours at PAX East 2011

A collage of sights, sounds, and personalities I encountered during my first Penny Arcade Expo. Despite arriving late, acquiring a massive headache, failing to play any of the games I set out to see, insulting my idols at Giant Bomb during Q&A, forgetting to record most of the cool shit that went down, and rushing to catch the trainride home, PAX was an unforgettably awesome experience.
Even though I hadn't planned on editing and uploading my travels online, I managed to score an interview with every member of the site - Gerstmann, Davis, Shoemaker, Caravella, Snider, Scanlon, and Kessler - as well as Screened.com's own Alex Navarro (who stroked my disgustingly-overgrown beard) Greg Kasavin of Super Giant Games-fame, and 38 Studio's Rich Gallup. Unfortunately, the breadth of these conversations were not recorded, and for that I feel foolish.
That said, I assure you that these guys are some of the coolest motherfuckers on the planet. They were all down-to-Earth, grateful, and professional, and stood outside the theater for over an hour after the show, just to fraternize with us mere duders.

@red12b Vinny, son. All of them were really nice, but Vinny has such a playful sense of humor. I also struck a pose with Brad, but the picture came our poorly.
