Dog almost gets taken out by 2 Elk in Telluride, Colorado

Another one of the videos I shot of a loose herding dog harassing a large herd of elk. This time the elk were hot on it's tail and almost caught it... They were NOT happy! Don't mess with their babies.

Good luck catching a blue heeler. They're bred to herd and dodge.

Dogger was playing with them. The elk couldn't take him out with less than a shotgun.

Dog was super-smart. He/She outmaneuvered the both elks right at the time. Otherwise he would be trampled.
