Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu met Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Trump warned of dire consequences in West Asia and a third world war. He vowed peacebuilding efforts in West Asia after his victory. Trump and Netanyahu discussed Israel’s ceasefire with Hamas and the hostage situation. Republican candidate Trump criticised his Democratic political rivals during the meet, saying, "We have incompetent people running our country". Talks between the two followed Netanyahu’s meeting with US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The trip marks Netanyahu’s first abroad visit since war with Hamas broke out in October last year.

World War III has started a long time ago - to be precise with 9/11; we just didn't pay attention.
