  • I don't know how they could sing this night after night without bursting into laughter.

No one: Not a single person: Not even me: Glinda: LAAAR

I really wish they had this on dvd, with the original cast.

Kirsten Chenoworth (don't know how to spell it) was so perfect for this role this video always has me in stitches

Aaaah Idina is so cute in this one, I love her reactions

one thing i love about this song is that glinda doesn't try to cover up her green. she accentuates her natural beauty. it catches elphaba off guard. she didn't think she could be beautiful just the way she is.

The fact that I can't pay money for even a dvd of this is a crime against theatre. What a brilliant performance.
  • "Don't make me laugh! They were POPULAR!" I love how she says it! it's funny and cute😂
  • @onyx9857
She made “popular” a 10 syllable word and i love it.

I need a time machine! I need to see this live!

Note: Both Kristen and Idina are Tony Award winners. Two veteran Broadway professionals.
  • Elphaba is such a good sport XD, I mean she's just laughing at how excited Glinda is getting and I love it lol

Anyone here after seeing Ariana singing popular in the wicked trailer?
  • @jjju3
Ok BUT I never watched wicked but, this randomly got stuck in my head out of absolutely nowhere, like I don't even remember ever listening to it?????? Wicked litterally haunts me
  • @Luenkun
Can't remember this from Guardians of the Galaxy
  • @ELalaEm
11 years has passed and I still memorized the lyrics perfectly

I miss the original cast so much. I live in OK and attended the same school as the OG Glenda (for those that don’t her actual name). She still pops in when the show travels to the Civic center and even to teach classes. Great woman!
