Rio Tinto, GET OUT from Serbia !!!
-
Rio Tinto is big company with very bad reputation, hundreds of court cases in the world, from Australia to Norvay, and further, for every place they had mines, created bad ecological situation, than run away with profits and left to every country to pay for damages..
-
problem is that Rion Tinto will get richer. not Serbians.
-
By @dusancville EU may do the mining on their land if they fancy it. We don't need membership in EU.
-
Rio Tinto ain't gonna be mining... Ain't gonna be mining... Ain't gonna be mining...

Those Mine belong to Serbia people. Should follow Indonesia doing... ban raw mineral export. Indonesia's new round of commodity export bans will take effect on June 10th. Although the government will still allow some firms to export copper, iron ore, lead, zinc and anode mud from copper concentrates until May 2024, a ban on all bauxite shipments will proceed.13 Jun 2023
-
Serbs should develop those mines themselves. No need to trust foreign companies especially from Western Europe who will want just exploit the Serbian nation.
-
Through successive policies implemented between 2009 and 2019, the Indonesian government has, as of late April 2022, progressively banned the export of nickel ore, requiring nickel to be processed domestically for export.

Somehow I'm not partial to lithium batteries myself: recently I bought standard 1.5V rechargeable batteries made by Ansmann - it turns out that lithium batteries have significantly lower capacity than traditional NiMH ones. I'm disappointed. Now what?
-
Imagine lithium mine project in France. It's impossible and not allowed.
-
Why is Indonesia banning exports? Indonesia announced a ban on bauxite exports in 2021 to encourage the further development of the downstream domestic metals sector. The government confirmed the move in May 2022, with the ban officially coming into effect on June 10, 2023.8 Jul 2024
