Never go in late April/early May there is a giant cheer competition and I couldn’t imagine what it’s like for people just trying to relax with thousands of teenagers every where

Tips from a cast member: if you do resort package delivery, it won’t be available until after 1pm the following day, so if you’re checking out the next day (10 or 11am) you won’t be able to do resort package delivery. ALSO front of the park package pick up takes 3 hours to get from the store to the front so you can’t leave the park for 3 hours after you purchase your package.

Never go when school is out of session. If u dont have kids, perfect. If you do, well i guess little Timmy is calling in sick.

We always take rain gear and NEVER leave when the rain starts. So many folks walk out and we have much of the park to ourselves. We were there once in a tropical storm and, although outdoor rides don't run, the monorail does. We had a completely empty park at Epcot and MK.

Never go to Disney world and be “the butthead” this is a place people come to have the most magical time of their life. Don’t take your bad attitude out on a cast member or be cussing and acting rudely, be your best version of yourself it will make your trip better and everyone else’s.
  • I never follow the crowds at rope drop. Usually everyone heads to Fantasyland. instead head to Tommorowland or Frountierland and to Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain where there are no waits.

This is my Mantra: Disney's even MORE fun when you're SKIPPING SCHOOL!!! Go during the normal study year!! Your kids will never, ever forget it.
  • Don’t overbook yourself for meals. The portions are HUGE, and the heat and humidity can be intense. You likely won’t be as hungry as you think

I didn’t work at Disney but I did work at Six Flags in college. QUICK THEME PARK TIP: if an employee tells you there’s another exit, USE IT. I know, that sounds ridiculous to have to say, but the amount of times we’d have 2 exits and there’d be a huge line at 1 (while the other is deserted) is insane. We’d yell, “another exit over here!” And people would look at us then continue standing in their line despite a 10 minute wait TO EXIT. Also, always get the stamp. You may say “nah we’re going home/to the hotel” but if you want to come back at night without your kid (or to use your meal pass for your free dinner) we won’t let you unless you got your stamp. Just take it! It washes off! It’s better than coming back 4 hours later and yelling at a 14 year old staff member.
  • True Disney Pros eat when they want! They plan ahead, keep checking back for cancellations, maintain routines for their children, and get the restaurants they want at the time of their choosing!
  • FLORIDA RESIDENT ADVICE: Always have ponchos and mobile fans for everyone in the group. The weather here changes really quickly. With it being so prone to high humidity and rain, you can never be too prepared. Also, umbrellas are allowed, but can get too cumbersome for a crowded Disney park.

I just got back from 8 days at Disney world and the best thing we did was ride the rides at magic kingdom during the fireworks
  • @itr0863
don't forget to pack a portable charger with you. i prefer the anker brand chargers.
  • @328am
I always plan 1 down day for every 3 days in the parks. I actually return home refreshed.
  • We never just bring one pair of shoes. It’s smart to bring a pair of sandals or flip flops Incase of wanting to go on a water ride or unexpected weather 🦋
  • I never forget to bring an extra duffel bag for souvenirs. Never again trying to stuff souvenirs in my carry-on. Never again
  • @marar8045
This is a tip for Tokyo Disney: use single rider lines!!!! I can’t stress this enough. My mom and I did every single ride in one day before 3pm with single riders line. They just don’t use them!
  • Don't rop-drop flight of passage the line/ wait will still be two- three hours definitely use a fast pass for that ride.

When you're waiting for rope drop at MK, instead of walking up main street to get to the hub, walk through the shops. Nobody is in there, and they're air conditioned
