Visit www.squarespace.com/flyingthenest - We are heading out to one of our top bucket list destinations in the world...but before we get there we have to land at the Paro airport...known as one of the most dangerous landings in the world due to it's proximity to the Himalayan mountains.

Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a traveling family who spent 2020 self-converting a van before moving in full-time to drive around our home country of Australia. We have now completed our lap, said our goodbyes, and resumed full-time travel before we wait for our second baby to arrive.

Hats off to you guys! I can't imagine traveling like this with what it entails with the little ones. We knew y'all weren't about to stop traveling, but you have raised the bar. Safe travels and bunches of blessings!

I loved Bhutan. If I had gone there when I was in my 30s, I probably would have stayed. The people, the buildings and the countryside were all so beautiful. After travelling via India, Bhutan was so peaceful.

This one was special why did I cry when your guide started singing? you always manage to capture the essence of the places you visit I haven't been able to see this in many others that travel vlog you guys are just as amazing as the places you visit ❤️
  • @donEvans27
Can we bottle the Bhutan hospitality and flood the world with it? Such beautiful people! ❤❤❤
  • This is going to be EPIC!!! The welcome song moved me to tears. The human connections add value to a journey!! Can't wait for the next episodes!! 🥰🥰

No wonder Bhutan is known for having the happiest people in the entire world! They are so caring and welcoming. Enjoy your trip! ❤

That's my home country. I was born and raised in Thimphu until I was a teenager. Then I moved abroad. Miss it. Hope you'll enjoy your stay in Bhutan and try our national cuisine ema datsi (chili cheese) but I think kewa datsi (potato cheese) will be good for you all as it's less spicy. Much love ❤

Thank you so much for visiting Bhutan, my homeland. By doing this you’re not only enjoying your travel but also contributing to Bhutan’s economy.

Bhutan truly seems like a hidden gem 🇧🇹, and your video beautifully showcases its welcoming culture and stunning architecture. Kudos for capturing the genuine warmth of the Bhutanese people. It's heartwarming to see Koa embracing the journey with such ease. Looking forward to immersing myself in more of Bhutan's wonders through your lens! 📷✨

Wow, I absolutely cried when I saw your host welcome you to Bhutan. Their genuine kindness was just so refreshing. So excited to see you travel through Bhutan, amazing that you are taking the little ones along with you. Total legends. 🙏🏻

Bhutan is one of my dream countries to visit besides Tibet , Mongolia , Nepal. My admiration of you how you handle travel with your 2 cute kids. Your so lively as though travelling alone. Enjoy the treasure of Bhutan - HAPPINESS.

Not me tearing up at the beauty of Bhutan! You guys are the best travelers to watch, hands down. 😊
  • @heyajoy
It's so lovely to travel to countries where the locals love having you. Bless them.
  • @jparreno
what a fun welcoming ceremony! Wow, i had no idea any country did that to welcome guests! The buildings all look so classic and beautiful!
  • I am interested in hearing how the family dealt with the elevation - Bhutan being the highest country in the world. Sadly no more high elevations in my travels - Bhutan, Mongolia and Tibet were on my list. Watching your young family explore areas I have not visited is a wonderful way to see these places. Jiuzhaigou National Park in China was the highest - barely -I have managed. I even get altitude sickness at the Canadian Rockies!
  • I think I actually saw you guys but didn’t know you were YouTubers. I hope you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful country❤
  • @OlwynneCade
I love your incredible adventures. I got goosebumps when the Bhutanese man was singing in the car and you arrived at your hotel. What a beautiful place with such beautiful people. Can’t wait for your next vid.
  • @r.j.b.1645
What a precious welcome in Bhutan. The architecture is wonderful! …excited to share your adventure.
  • @suzannealamo6333
I'm sure Steven meant "compliments" to that man's mother-in-law not "condolences" 😂
  • @kristenmccook837
Koa just seems like the most chill baby! Just taking it all in his stride :)
