Google should bring the headphones jack back on the pixel a series
  • @godminnette2
It's interesting that LTT feels that this is the no-brainer over the 7, when MKBHD and Dave2D feel the exact opposite.
  • @Bluth53
Thanks for the fun throwback Thursday times of HTC 😂 Those were the times...😅
  • @10:45 if you activate the always on display you can do scanner directly. It is how it works at my Pixel 7.

I remember when phone unboxing had plugs, cables, headphones and a massive box, wish i could go back to them days. Nothing compares to the old unboxing videos

I'm running with a 3a XL, so anything and everything is an upgrade for me pretty much. The 6 Pro was what I was going to snag, given used they seem to sit around ~$300. :)
  • Pixel 7 was on discount for $450 on the google store for like 3 months before this release btw Do with that information as you wish
  • pixel a is just the best range, upgraded from a 3a to a 6a recently and am extremely happy with it. very unlikely to upgrade to the 7a (i'll check out the 9a) but interesting to see the trends. I do feel that flagships getting the main-channel reviews encourages the sorta behaviour of giving them vanity pricing though, it would be nice to see consumer focus

Interesting. The a series is definitely decent especially with deep discounts.
  • Here in the UK, the A pricing really screwed us at 449 GBP. I was going to buy the 7A when the 7 was on sale for only 25GBP more it made more sense to go with that
  • @Keyan9
that built in microphone quality is EXCELLENT
  • @chamdeawis
Got the 7a. It was only marginally cheaper than the 7. But the wider ultrawide, smaller size and newer bluetooth and of course the £50 cheaper price were the reasons.
  • @OhMyGadd
In the UK market the pixel 7 was £530/550 sale price for last week, pixel 7a comes out at £450 with pixel buds included which cost about £90. Its not a bad value at all for the british market if you want them both and I did so im glad i didnt rush and get the pixel 7 like I wanted when the sale hit.

So the main shooters downscales to 16 MP from 64. At 2x digital zoom, is it zooming before or after the downscaling? So does it downscale 32 to 16 MP or 64 to 8?
  • @Jestokost
Jake being a Death Grips fan makes me like him even more
  • It's fun to finally hear about Labs Results. Looking forward for future reviews.
  • @ashar8192
Is there anyway to contact the LTT labs people to find out how they tested the gaming performance at 17:40? Also I suggest to include and test perf/W, in the next first impression/ review
  • @WesCrockettCA
I upgraded 2 lines with T-Mobile today to take advantage of the free upgrade from OnePlus 9s. They have a free Pixel buds offer too but it took THREE HOURS on the phone with reps to actually get them... we'll see if the buds even show up in the mail...
  • @CMDRJosh
ill never forgive google for deleting the physical fingerprint sensor
  • @rlig5932
A comparison between new phones and the previous 2 versions seems like it would be more pertinent with those interested in an upgrade. Most people upgrade every 2 or 3 years and not every 6 months or a year. Otherwise all good information and well delivered!
