This isn't a sports car, this is a piece of art.
-
Grace, space and pace.

Nice call out for Allen Millyard. So quiet and modest, yet the most incredible engineer. The things he makes in his garden shed are amazing.
-
British petrol-head here. So impressed with the love behind this project. And the video is made in the same manner. My soul aches to see this car, thank you to everyone involved. Amazing dedication.

Wow….just, wow. Thank you sir, not only for commissioning this, but then sharing it with us.
-
“They’re adjustable, as long as you want them in exactly that position” 😂
-
The slogan for Jaguar is "Grace, Space, Pace". Always pleasure to see these historical art pieces!

The smile on the owners face during the drive was priceless, great job as usual Jay, please continue...

2 Things Jay. In the 70's I worked at the Foundry that cast the V12 engine blocks & heads. It was amazing to see. This was in Yorkshire called West yorkshire foundry. Long gone now. 2nd You need to get Alan Millyard over to your shop for a talk, he has an amazing ability. Great video & thanks for sharing . From the UK. Steve.

This build is what I picture myself doing if I was a multimillionaire. So much better, in my opinion, than just buying another Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini, ect. Thank this gentlemen for his passion, vision and apparently deep pockets! As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇

Full circle. In 1991 I saw the original XJ 13 at Pebble Beach, and was also blessed to meet and speak with Jay himself. His casual and approachable demeanor and generous nature interacting with other enthusiasts made a big impression on me. As I drove back to Seattle in my Jaguar XK 120 Fixed Head Coupe I laughed realizing that Jay owned the same car. Thanks Jay for all you have done sharing your love and extensive knowledge of these remarkable machines. Your life has made a huge contribution to our society.

A true purist, and a man who knows exactly what he wants. And is willing to do the work to get it. Stunning craftsmanship and fidelity to the original.
-
the covid era show was fun but a car like this deserves the camera work that the crew does. The shape of the cars body is just incredible.
-
The owner knows about his car which shows a true enthusiast who understands what it took to build the car. It would have to be one of the most beautiful cars ever built. True genius
-
Glad to hear Jay talk about Allen Millyard, he is amazing and my favorite builder
-
The fabrication of this car is absolutely breathtaking! The work that goes into hand building a car in raw aluminum is absolutely insane! Absolutely no bondo to hide any wrinkles or scratches.
-
21:10. Good to hear Jay giving Allan Millyard a shoutout. It would be great to see Allan and Jay geeking out over one of his creations...preferably his Velocette V-Twin or The Flying Millyard.
-
Awesome conversation between two purists. I will never ever tire of listening to Jay talk cars.
-
Just the most beautiful Jag ever! Wow!!!
