This is definitely one of her most underrated songs. The words are so simple but they are still catchy. This is a real topic that a lot of people deal with and Bey is letting us know that sometimes there's simply no way to force someone to love you and how dumb they are for not loving you. This will forever be timeless <3

This was me 2 years ago. I used to play this song nonstop. God this song brings me back to a horrible place. Wondering why a man didn’t love me. I started to question my worth as a woman because I did everything for him and he didn’t appreciate me. So glad that I realized that it had absolutely nothing to do with me.. He didn’t deserve me. Who cares if he doesn’t love me? I love me. That’s all that matters.
