This lick helps you to cycle through all 12 keys and move this pattern across the neck. I got this idea from the great Joe Pass.

My old piano teacher taught that the say C chord when you add the flat7th Wants to go to F, and so on. Also to practice the clockwise , and inversions.

Merci beaucoup. I'm just learning the fretboard now, and concentrated in G. But every once in a while I try to take it around the Circle, and it's not quite automatic yet. This seems to be too cool. I'll be on it.
