Hello everyone! I forgot to mention the price of the keyboard so I’ll leave it here: 189.99 you can also get what’s called a “barebones” kit which comes with no switches or key caps, if you wanna save a few bucks and put it towards your own set of key caps and switches. Thanks all!

Now in the rabbit hole like you. I highly recommend the Acoustic kit Keychron offers when purchasing the Q2. It’s poron foam. Additionally, I can recommend car audio dampening sheet material (between the post mounts) inside the spacebar for tuning the odd sound it makes. I tried the Ghostbar from Nuphy but my mod sounded better. My switches: Gateron Oil Kings make this a delicious board 🤙🏻.

I wouldn’t describe this as a ‘beginners keyboard’ due to the high price. I mean it’s almost £100 more than a nuphy halo 65 which is a great keeb for the money. I wanted to try a Keychron board but opted for the v2 instead of the q2. It’s essentially the same but cheaper. But more plasticky but a very nice kb for the price (circa $90 for the knob version).

i actually started with the tezzare tk61 cuz im broke asf. when fully modded it sounds and looks amazing. the only down side is the stiffness
